Travel tip: Rental trucks don't have cruise control, so be ready to put that right foot to good use if you have a long trip. Also, most rental trucks don't have a tape or cd player so if you need music, get a radio ipod adapter.
Since we knew we would be staying with some friends along the way, we came prepared with gifts.
House Guest Tip: Staying with friends and family along the way can really help save money, but make sure not to show up empty-handed. Giving a bottle of wine, a gift card, or offering to cook dinner are all great ways to say thank you! (Saying it helps, too!)
Our first day was Brother's Day. We stopped in Atlanta for delicious Cuban food with Sus' brother, Jeremy and then stayed the night in Nashville with Chloe's brother, Neil.
Next stop: St. Louis, MO, where we stayed with one
of Sus' best friends, Allyn, and her hubbie, Neal.
They took us out to a charity trivia night. Our theme? "El Guapo's Birthday." Our table won the prize for most festive decorations. Yay!
Getting to hang out with friends we don't usually see +
playing with huge sombreros = happy kids.
The final state of our road trip! We made it!
Brewery Tour Tip: Have you always wondered how they brew your favorite beer? Research the cities that you will be driving through/staying in because many breweries offer free tours... and, more importantly, most give you free beer too!
Cheers to the end of our another amazing road trip!
